Create an App Directory

This article outlines the steps for creating an App Directory that you can share with the public through a shareable URL or an iframe embed code. 

Before you begin

  • You must have Administrator access to EdTech Manager.

Steps

  1. Sign in to EdTech Manager and go to Settings > App Directory.
  2. Select Create App Directory.

  3. Enter the App Directory Name, then select Next.

      Tip

    Use a name that specifies the directory and its intended use. For example, using “High School Arts and History Apps” indicates the directory is intended for high school students and includes art and history resources.

  4. Select the apps to be included in your directory. You can select Select All at the top to add all the apps from the list, choose them individually, or sort them by group.

      Important

    You can only add approved apps from EdTech Manager. If you can’t find an app, check its approval status in EdTech Manager.

  5. Select Save & Publish.
  6. The page will refresh to show you the shareable URL and the embed code. Select the Copy icons for the sharing features, or select the Open Shareable URL button to see what the directory looks like.
